Plant and cryptogam name authors, collectors, and publication authors are combined into a single resource. Enter a person's name either as lastname, firstname, e.g. jones, david or by the standard abbreviation, e.g. d r jones. An author or collector name is sometimes made up of multiple names and can be entered as such or a team record can be located from the record of any of its members. Be sure to check the team box if you are searching for a team. Check off the botanist roles by which to constrain the search, otherwise all botanists in the database will be matched. With plantname author and/or collector roles selected, you can select a specialty from the lists or specify a country where an author worked or a collector is known to have collected.
